Download The Ville Game For Android

Escape games are a sub-genre of puzzle games. They are vastly better in real life. However, there are some games that have similar elements. For those who may not know, escape games have you placed in a room or a situation and your goal is to escape. You’ve likely dealt with this mechanic in some form before. Some developers use it as part of a larger experience while others use it as the main mechanic. Some are simple while others are complex with story lines. It runs the gamut, so listed below are our picks for the best escape games for Android!

We’d also like to give an honorable mention to the Can You Escape series (Google Play link). It’s an excellent arcade series overall.

Adventure Escape series

Price: Free to play

Adventure Escape is a series of escape games from Haiku Games. They are a series of games that follow a protagonist trying to solve a mystery. At their core, each game has you solving mysteries and then getting out of danger alive. It features decent graphics, simple mechanics, and the story lines aren’t half bad. There are nine games in total and each one is free to download. There are in-app purchases, but they’re mostly just for stuff like hints.

All That Remains: Part 1

Price: $1.99

All That Remains: Part 1 is one of the newer escape games. The main character and his sister are trapped in a secret bunker by their father. Your goal is to escape it. The game includes a camera function to take picture of clues. It also includes various puzzles, a decent soundtrack, and an auto-save feature. The Part 1 portion implies that more titles in the series are coming. We certainly hope so because this one was pretty good. It’s also relatively inexpensive at $1.49 with no in-app purchases.

The Escapists 1 and 2

Price: $6.99 each

The Escapists 1 and 2 are two escape games. However, instead of escaping a room or a puzzle box, you’re trying to escape from prison. Both games have similar base mechanics. You play the role of an upstanding prisoner while you secretly collect and craft items to help you eventually escape. The second game features larger prisons, more items, more activities, and more of, well, everything. The first game still holds its own in this genre as well and it has an optional DLC for even more content. These are two of the best escape games for Android hands-down.

Faraway 3: Arctic Escape

Download the ville game for android apk

Price: Free / $2.99

Faraway 3: Arctic Escape is one of the newer escape games. It’s the latest game in the popular Faraway franchise. Players solve puzzles to escape the area and continue the game. Each game in the series has a theme. The third one is an arctic theme. The game also includes simple mechanics, plenty of puzzles, and a cheap price tag. The games aren’t linear. Thus, you can play them in any order. The free version comes with the first nine levels. You have to pay for the rest of it. The other two games in the series are good too.

Great Escapes

Price: Free / Up to $2.49

Great Escapes is a different sort of escape game. Most arcade escape games on Android have hundreds of rooms and that’s what makes the game longer. This one focuses a bit more on quality over quantity. Thus, you don’t get a massive dump of rooms, but rather room packs released as the developers think up more. Players use the Glitch Camera to take pictures of things. The pictures uncover clues about where to go and what to do. You also collect items and use them to solve various clues. It’s not the most flashy game in the genre, but the execution is way better than most. Plus, there are still things like hints and an auto-save feature so you don’t lose progress.

You're halfway done! Here are some more fun games to look at!

The House of Da Vinci

Price: $4.99

The House of Da Vinci is an older, but outstanding escape room game. You end up in the house of Leonardo Da Vinci to search for the man yourself. The game includes decent graphics, various puzzles and riddles, a bunch of Da Vinci themed rooms, and more. In terms of game play, it’s a similar experience to The Room. That includes dark environments, smooth movement, and the whole puzzle inside of a puzzle thing. There are some tiny objects that are hard to pick up and the game is fairly difficult compared to most of its competitors, but that’s why we find it charming. It’s also a single purchase with no micro-transactions.

Monument Valley 1 and 2

The Ville Game Facebook

Price: $3.99 + $1.99 / $4.99

The Monument Valley series is among the most iconic mobile puzzle games ever. They aren’t escape games strictly by the definition of the genre. However, each level puts you in an area that you must get out of. The levels turn, flip, twist, and do all kinds of stuff. The illusory imagery is simply phenomenal to behold. The first game runs for $3.99 with an in-app purchase for some DLC. The second game goes for $4.99 for right now. Both of these are phenomenal puzzle games, even if they aren’t strictly escape games. They focus a lot more on the flashiness of the genre rather than actual difficulty. You can play this one for free on Google Play Pass if you use it.

The Room series

Price: $0.99-$4.99 each

The Room is a series of puzzle games by Fireproof Games. They are perhaps the most iconic escape room games ever made. Each game has you in a beautifully crafted room filled with beautifully crafted things. Your job is to figure out all of the puzzles and escape the room, puzzle box, dollhouse, or whatever else the game throws at you. The puzzles can be fairly intricate, detailed, and well hidden. The graphics are truly equisite. Each game has its own set of unique mechanics, but it follows a similar core, arcane story. There are four total games in the series and you can get all of them for under $10. Newer installments include multiple endings, cloud saves, and other modern features.

Rooms: The Toymaker’s Mansion

Price: $4.99

Rooms: The Toymaker’s Mansion is the newest escape game on the list. This one takes the term a bit literally, though. Players arrange rooms into the proper order so the character can escape to the next level. The wrong way can wind up causing problems and it’s only once you figure out the right path that the game lets you proceed. Rooms includes 144 levels across four mansions, various special abilities, and a narrative story with two endings. You also get cloud saving and achievements as well. It’s a single purchase with no in-app purchases and most of the release bugs seem to be worked out now.

Rusty Lake / Cube Escape series

Download The Ville Game For Android Emulator

Price: Free / Up to $2.99 each

Download The Ville Game For Android Emulator

The Rusty Lake series is a long-running set of escape games. Each game ties into the main premise through its location. Each game has you finding objects, solving puzzles, and trying to escape the situation you’re in. The franchise has nine games in total. Each one is completely free to play and supported by advertising. The graphics are a little simple, but but of the games are free. There is one premium game for $2.99 and it’s excellent as well. The developers also have the Rusty Lake series, a set of premium puzzle games with similar mechanics. The developers also recently released Samsara (Google Play link), another escape game with a lot of the same game elements as the Rusty Lake series, but isn’t part of Cube Escape or Rusty Lake..
